LETTER: Thanks to event organisers

Could I through your pages express my gratitude to all the organisers and marshals of the 1066 Battle Run, being the Battle Lions '“ it was a fantastic event.

I would also like to extend my thanks to all those that have donated and pledged money for the Eastbourne Epilepsy Group. The money raised (nearly £400) will go to a new gazebo which they use at all their outdoor events, with the last one being blown over and having to be patched up the glue and tape.

Finally, thank you to my family that have had to put up with me going out on training runs at all times.
