In last Friday’s Observer report on the Queensway Gateway, a representative of the so-called Coombe Haven Defenders complained of the affect air pollution will have on the wildlife in the Hollington Valley.
What she and her self-appointed group overlook (or don’t care about) is, until the QG is completed, the devastating effect that both the air and traffic pollution will have on the human life on the already busy Battle High Street and the Ridge, this being the shortest and least convoluted route from John’s Cross to the Bexhill to Hastings link road.
