Here is this week's round-up of crimes from the Battle area.
THIEVES broke into a site office in Stonegate Road in Burwash.
The intruders made a mess, but nothing was stolen.
The break-in was reported at 8am on Monday.
A PROPERTY was broken into at Perrymans Lane, Burwash, just after 1.30pm on Monday.
Police are hunting a white male, in his mid to late twenties, 5ft 10, slim build with very dark haired, wearing a leather jacket with a design on the back, who was spotted in the garden of the property.
It is not believed that anything was stolen.
A WACKER plate was stolen from a container at a compound in Dagg Lane, Ewhurst, some time between 11pm on Sunday and 4am the next day.
A QUAD bike was stolen from a farm at Ewhurst Green some time between midday on Sunday and midday on Monday.
THIEVES stole a John Deer tractor and a Gang mower from a secure yard at a local school.
The machinery was taken from Ebdons Hill in Westfield between 5pm on Friday July 19 and 8am on Monday.
A MASSEY Ferguson agricultural tractor was stolen from a farm at Witherenden Hill in Burwash between 9pm on Sunday and 10am the next day.
NUMBER plates were stolen from a dark blue Citroen Xsara Picasso parked in Hastings Road, Telham.
The plates, registration number GY56 EXV, were taken between 6.30pm on Wednesday July 16 and 7am the next day.
