Soulful pop artist Simon Webbe and hot new girl band The Saturdays have been announced as the star supports for the forthcoming Girls Aloud concert at Battle Abbey on Saturday August 23.
Starting his career as one quarter of the cheeky R&B pop band Blue, Simon Webbe has achieved massive success as a solo artist, with his first album Sanctuary selling double platinum and multiple top ten solo singles including Coming Around Again and No Worries.
Brit boy-band Blue sold over 13 million records with 11 top ten hits and performed with music legends Elton John, Stevie Wonder and Angie Stone.
Simon has found his own unique sound, coining the genre 'urban soul', creating an incredibly uplifting second album Grace and his third album currently in work, his success keeps on growing.
Simon says he is 'thrilled' to be supporting Girls Aloud on the second leg of their sell out arena tour, Tangled Up, and is set to get pulses racing, especially after being voted onto Company magazine's Sexiest Man Alive list!
The Saturdays are a brilliant blissfully girlie pop group who are currently experiencing massive chart success with recently released If This Is Love.
The fresh-faced five-piece are high on Radio 1's playlist, alongside the likes of Kylie Minogue and The Ting Tings.
On supporting Girls Aloud on their Tangled Up tour, band member Mollie said: "It is the best experience ever.
"The girls are so nice to us and said if we needed any help and advice we should go to them.
"It is like a big girly road trip."
They're set to be Britain's next big girl band so don't miss the chance to see them first.
