Bexhill crashed and Sidley thrashed by Pakistan bowling ace
Bexhill and Sidley both suffered heavy defeats on the third weekend of the 2007 Sussex Cricket League season.
Bexhill were sunk by eight wickets away to St James's Montefiore, while Sidley went down by 118 runs at Chichester Priory Park.
Bexhill were bowled out for 131 in 33.2 overs after being put in to bat, with Jonathan Haffenden (36), Richard May (30), Ian Ellis (24) and Chris Topp (11) the only players to reach double figures.
Ellis and Simon Bulteel took a wicket each as St James's slumped to 11-2 in reply, but an unbroken stand of 124 took them home comfortably in the end.
Sidley held their opponents to 174-7 after electing to field, the evergreen Tyrone Wildman bowling unchanged to claim 3-73 from 26 overs.
But they were blown away by former the pace of Fazl-e-Akbar after tea. The former Pakistan Test bowler took 7-32 as Sidley were skittled for just 56.
