A bumper Easter Monday of football action is under threat as a result of Storm Katie.
Strong winds and heavy rain last night (Sunday) and this morning may well put today’s games in doubt and updates will follow in due course.
Hastings United are due to host Peacehaven & Telscombe in a Ryman Football League Division One South match where the U’s are running an ‘Easter Special’ admission offer.
Admission will be £2 for adults and £1 for concessions - a reduction of £8 and £5 respectively on the usual charges - and under-18s will, as usual, get in free.
Season ticket holders attending will be given a voucher entitling them to a 5% discount on any season ticket they buy for next season on production of their current ticket at the gate on this day only. Kick-off at The Pilot Field is 3pm.
Elsewhere, Little Common are scheduled to entertain crosstown rivals Bexhill United in Macron Store Southern Combination Football League Division One and Westfield are due to be at home to AFC Varndeanians in Division Two. Both fixtures are due to kick-off at 11am, although Westfield yesterday announced that there will be an 8am inspection.
A dozen matches are scheduled to take place in the Macron East Sussex Football League this afternoon, again weather permitting.
