Hastings United Football Club is offering free admission to its home game on Saturday.

The U’s will take on high-flying Faversham Town in their final home fixture of the Ryman Football League Division One South season and there will be no charge for spectators. Kick-off is 3pm.

A statement on the club website said: “

After results went against them last weekend, United find themselves just one place and one point above the three relegation spots with two matches remaining (the other is away to Walton & Hersham on Saturday April 25).

And they could be dragged into the bottom three if Ramsgate - who currently occupy the final relegation place - win their game in hand at home to Guernsey tonight (Tuesday).

Although United have won just four home league matches all season, they still boast the third highest average home attendance in the division. The U’s were 5-1 winners away to Faversham earlier in the season.
