Harris and Parsons back at Bexhill

David Harris and Warren Parsons have returned to Bexhill United Football Club.

Wing wizard Harris and defender/striker Parsons have signed for The Polegrove-based club ahead of the Sussex County Football League Division Two season which starts next weekend.

Harris was Bexhill's longest serving player when he left to join Hailsham Town at the end of October last year having initially joined in the summer of 2006.

He was a regular in the side which won promotion from Division Three (only to be relegated the following year), plus the Division Three Challenge Cup and Sussex Intermediate Cup in 2007-08.

Operating mainly as a defender, Parsons captained Bexhill during that historic 2007-08 campaign before joining Division Two neighbours Westfield for the 2009-10 season.

He was used as a striker at The Parish Field and was Westfield's 14-goal leading scorer last term despite leaving the club in the spring. Parsons' twin brother Kingsley has also committed himself to Bexhill.

The full article will appear in Friday's Bexhill Observer.
