Hastings United are holding a pitch inspection at 3pm

Hastings United have put their pitch inspection ahead of tonight’s (Tuesday) game against Cray Wanderers back to 3pm.

Every other Ryman League game scheduled for tonight has been postponed, but despite the cold snap we’ve been having, United haven’t given up hope of The Pilot Field playing surface being fit.

The club wrote on social network site Twitter this morning: “Still a chance of getting the game on tonight, but need to get the pitch clear first. Any help very welcome. Pitch inspection has now been put back to 3.00pm.”

If the Premier Division match does go ahead, kick-off will be 7.45pm. Return to this website and follow @SimonNewstead on Twitter for further updates.

Rye United’s match against fellow Sussex County Football League high-flyers East Preston in round three of the Sussex Senior Cup has been postponed because of an unfit pitch at Worthing FC.
