United set for showpiece Boro tie
Hastings United will entertain Eastbourne Borough in their most attractive-looking pre-season friendly tonight (Wednesday).
Ryman League Premier Division outfit United have chalked up comfortable victories over lower grade Westfield and Punnetts Town in their two warm-up matches so far.
But the visit from Blue Square Premier neighbours Borough, who are managed by former Hastings boss Garry Wilson, promises to be a massive step up in class.
Admission prices are 7 for adults, 5 for concessions and 2 for under-18s. Kick-off at The Pilot Field is 7.45pm.
In last night's friendlies involving local clubs, Rye United beat Westfield 2-1 at Claremont School and Bexhill United won 4-2 away to Punnetts Town.
