White resigns as Bexhill boss

Glyn White has resigned as manager of Bexhill United Football Club, citing the fact that he wasn't enjoying it any more as his main reason.

The former Hastings United reserves, St Leonards and Rye & Iden United boss made his decision on Friday morning, and although asked to think about it over the weekend, there was to be no change of heart.

Assistant manager Gerard Moyse took charge for the 5-1 victory over Saltdean United on Saturday and will remain at the helm for the rest of the season.

Bexhill are three points at the top of Division Three in the Sussex County League and on course to clinch one of the two promotion places into senior football.

The full story will appear in Friday's Bexhill Observer.
