A riotous melange of Victorian farce is served up at The Stables Theatre this week.

The double-bill of rarely-performed 19th Century comedies Box and Cox and The Game of Speculation opened last night and runs to next Saturday October 24. The production continues this evening (Friday) at 7.30pm but no show tomorrow (Saturday) night due to Hastings Bonfire. A 3pm matinee on Sunday (October 18) is followed by performances from Tuesday to Saturday, at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £7.50 for Stables members and groups (£12.50 non-members), with a £2 reduction on all first-night and Sunday tickets.
