The music will include compositions by several former Directors of Music in the church, including Kit Perona-Wright’s Thou Art Peter and a setting of Te Deum by Dr William Spear. This was influenced by his teacher Stanford and deserves to be heard after a century of neglect.

There will be solos for organ, oboe and cello, as well as a performance of one of the choral masterpieces of the 20th century; Britten’s Rejoice in the Lamb.

Admission is free with a retiring collection in aid of the repair of the church roof and can be gift aided if you are a taxpayer.
