Downs Ladies Club - May 30

LEADER Anne Tasker gave a warm welcome to members at our May meeting which was also the penultimate meeting of the Downs Ladies Club.

Birthday greetings were given and the minutes read and signed.

After an early cuppa and drawing of the raffle members settled down to watch slides presented by our speaker for the afternoon, Mr Michael Hoad whose subject was "A Little Bit of This and That".

A fascinating selection of slides were shown each relating to a letter of the alphabet covering a wide range of subjects and locations. Anne Tasker gave the vote of thanks.

Our final meeting next month will be a members only meeting.
