Film locations included East Street, Brighton, Madeira Drive, Brighton, Brighton Palace Pier, the Sea Life Centre, Brighton Beach, the Grand Hotel, and Beachy Head,

This mystery film directed by Bill Condon, based on Mitch Cullin's 2005 novel A Slight Trick of the Mind, features Sherlock Holmes, played by Ian McKellen. This film was shot at many different locations around Sussex including Seven Sisters Country Park, Wickham Manor Farm, a National Trust B&B in Winchelsea, Seaford Head, and Bluebell Railway.
