This biographical comedy-drama is based on the later years of the lives of the comedy double act Laurel and Hardy,starring Steve Coogan and John C. Reilly as Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy. Part of the filming took place at Worthing Lido.

12. Mr Holmes, 2015
This mystery film directed by Bill Condon, based on Mitch Cullin's 2005 novel A Slight Trick of the Mind, features Sherlock Holmes, played by Ian McKellen. This film was shot at many different locations around Sussex including Seven Sisters Country Park, Wickham Manor Farm, a National Trust B&B in Winchelsea, Seaford Head, and Bluebell Railway.
