A fundraising evening of daft entertainment
Expect a plethora of daft entertainment next Friday (August 2) at the Masonic Hall, St Leonards, as diverse talents are brought together to raise funds for a local charity.
On the bill is the Chalwell Ladies Drum n Bass League, a side project of singer and entertainer Lorraine Bowen, which mixes traditional english folk with drum and bass and dance rhythms (in a not serious way); Black Elvis (real name Colbert Hamilton); and folk act Jiggery Pokery.
On top of this there will be DJ sets and a bingo-off between Timberlina and Pink Minx. The event runs from 8pm to 1am, and tickets are £10. Proceeds go to the Sara Lee Trust. Tickets are available from Our Big Day Out, Love Cafe and One Cafe in St Leonards, Substance in the town centre and Serenity Hair and Beauty in the Old Town.
