At 7pm Caffrey will expand on his work and this will be followed by Divorcing Jack. After a break at 9.40pm there will be a screening of the Love/Hate St. Patrick’s Day episode. Please note both of these are certified 18plus.

Divorcing Jack is black comedy adapted from a novel by Colin Bateman and directed by David Caffrey. This is one of David Thewlis’ earliest roles for which he was nominated for Best Performance by a British Actor in an Independent Film.

Love/Hate is the most successful crime drama series in Irish Television history, often compared to The Wire and The Sopranos - uncompromising, appalling and irresistible. Set in modern day Dublin’s underworld, Love/Hate has won numerous awards, including eight Irish Film &Television Awards for Best Drama, Best Director, Best Actor in a Lead Role and others. Love/Hate has attracted controversy for its explicit portrayals of violence and the fact that the actor playing an undercover policeman (Kieran O’Reilly) was revealed to be a real member of the Irish Police Force National Drug Unit. The St Patrick’s Day episode is a backdrop to a fatal clash of revenge and criminal ambitions that spiral out out of control. Nidge (Tom Vaughan-Lawlor), a drug baron, gets mixed up with with IRA men Git and his son Dano with catastrophic consequences.
