Lookback in history

Glimpse back into Bexhill Old Town’s Hanoverian history with a small exhibition in Barrack Hall from June 19-21, 10-4pm, entrance free.

The building, then called Russell Farm, abutted the parade ground of the Kings German Legion which is now a park.

The exhibition organised by Bexhill Old Town Preservation Society gives a flavour of life at that time, on the cusp of the industrial revolution and enormous social changes that ensued, and will feature two rooms.
