WED 16 – BILLY WALTON + VIRGIL & THE ACCELERATORS – In

the history of rock n roll there is a long tradition of guitarists trading in their

THU 17 – THE HEATHER FINDLAY BAND – The former Mostly

Autumn front woman is already blazing a unique trail as an independent

artist. For her new solo work she has assembled an elite band from the upper

echelon of the rock world; Dave Kilminster (Roger Waters, Keith Emerson,

John Wetton), Chris Johnson (Fish, Mostly Autumn, Halo Blind), Steve

FRI 18 – THE CHRISTIANS – Mersey stars The Christians were prime

movers in the soul scene that emerged out of England’s North West at the

end of the 80s. Along with other iconic bands they brought a slicker,

sophisticated, soul-flecked sound to the charts at the end of that heady

WED 23 – THE STRAWBS (ELECTRIC SHOW) – The Strawbs have had

a rich history since they were formed around forty years ago. Originally

named The Strawberry Hill Boys, they started out as a duo comprising Dave

Cousins and Tony Hooper playing bluegrass music. Bass player Ron

Chesterman then joined them and they recorded an album with Sandy

Denny, which was released several years later. The current line-up

comprises Rod Coombes, John Hawken, Dave Lambert, David Cousins and

THU 24 – HAZEL O’CONNOR & BLUJA – Award winning singer-

songwriter HAZEL O’CONNOR , with a much anticipated and already
