Popular local choir with one of Haydn's favourite classics

One of the most enjoyable choral works for choirs to sing and audiences to listen to is Haydn's The Creation which Bexhill Choral Society is performing on October 8 at 7.30pm at St Augustine's Church, off Cooden Drive, in Bexhill.

Chairman Sue Wright said: “The sheer joy and excitement as goodness gradually prevails in the newly created world is reflected in the soloists’ storytelling and the chorus’s reactions. Day by day the story unfolds, ending with the chorus celebrating this wonderful new world, praising Jehovah.”

Three soloists join Bexhill Choral Society for this occasion - Sophie Pullen, Gary Marriott and Peter Grevatt.
