Sparkly Bird is a true story told in 12 songs of her sister’s untimely death. With narrator, visuals, dance and a jazz quartet formed from her band The Fabulous Red Diesel, Kat tells a story of undiagnosed postnatal depression, hidden clinical depression and the ensuing carnage. It was first performed this year in Brighton to fantastic reviews. Instruments include chaos pad, tuba and double bass. Tickets £5 on the door or Ticketsource.
