Stunning new work in concert

A stunning summer concert will be held by Hastings Sinfonia on Saturday July 16 at St John The Evangelist Church in Brittany Road, St Leonards, at 7.30pm.

It will feature a selection of classical music including Beethoven’s Pastoral Symphony and the Die Fledermaus Overture, but also new music from artistic director Polo Piatti with his What Have I Become? and All Eyes Turn, both world premieres, as well as Duty Sublime which was specially commissioned to mark the 90th birthday of HM Queen Elizabeth II.

Guest soloists are soprano Thomasin Trezise, mezzo-soprano Ayaka Tanimoto, and Daisy Noton on flute. Hastings Sinfonia is conducted by Derek Carden and led by Peter Fields.
