The Tabs, at their peak in the mid nineties when they entertained a 20,000 strong audience at Fairport Convention’s annual Cropredy Festival, which has included musicians such as Robert Plant.

The band enhanced theoir growing reputation and stature with a highly successful live album was recorded on that day and called “Cropredy Live 95”.

Much to the delight of their fans, The Tabs reformed last year for a reunion gig with an acoustic line-up but for the coming Carlisle concert they have their drummer Andy King back on board making this their first full band performance since 2004.

Fairport’s Dave Pegg was impressed with the Tabs, quoted as including them in his top five Cropredy acts.

The band are recognised as a class act and the line-up includes some of the town’s finest musicians; Roger Carey (Leane Carroll), Roger Flack (Gigspanner), Garry Blakeley (Feast of Fiddles) and Edd Blakeley (Blair and The Garry Blakeley Band).

Doors open at 7.00pm and music starts around 7.45pm.
