Tasty jazz is served for breakfast next Sunday

A Jazz Breakfast will be held at St Mary in the Castle on Sunday October 18 at 11am.

Popular musicians Herbie Flowers and Mike Hatchard return to this delightful venue for the Friends next jazz breakfast.

Herbie has performed in the groups Sky and Blue Mink and has recently been touring with the arena show The War of the Worlds. He is a renowned session musician who has worked with many big names but says his proudest moment was playing on Catch a Falling Star.

Pianist Mike Hatchard has had a diverse career, working with Matt Munro, David Essex, Spike Milligan among many others. His latest scheme is a charity cycle ride to the Edinburgh Festival...with a piano on tow!

Guest violinist Paul Hart, who is a multi-instrumentalist and a composer, made his début at Carnegie Hall and has since worked with the likes of Evelyn Glennie and John Williams.

The three musicians have a great rapport in working together, so an entertaining morning is guaranteed.
