This summer he invaded the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury to begin rapping with a shocked Kanye West, and he also infiltrated the X Factor studio where he began singing with Stereo Kicks.

As one of his alter-egos, Jason Bent, he took on the guise of premiership footballer and started warming up with the Manchester City players as they prepared for a game against Everton at Goodison Park. Last year he was arrested for attempting to join the England team boarding a plane for the World Cup in Brazil - this latter escapade under his own identity, Simon Brodkin. Performing solo since 2004, he has also written for and appeared on the television shows Al Murray’s Multiple Personality Disorder in 2009, Lee Nelson’s Well Good Show in 2010 and Lee Nelson’s Well Funny People in 2013. In character as Lee Nelson, he briefly stood as a candidate in the South Shields by-election, 2013

Seem him in his most familiar role when he brings the Suited and Booted show to the White Rock Theatre on Wednesday October 28, 7.30pm.
