Emma Hawkes, lead hairdressing lecturer at East Sussex College, said, “This free short course is ideal for anyone who wants to learn about hairdressing, anyone thinking of changing careers, or anyone desperate to give their children a hair cut.

“While we can’t go out and do much at the moment, we wanted to reach out to the local community and offer a virtual place for them to learn and chat with others.

“Hairdressing is a very sociable profession, and we certainly miss the interaction with our students and clients.”
