Bexhill secondary school confirms case of Covid-19

A Bexhill secondary school has had a confirmed case of coronavirus (Covid-19).

St Richard’s Catholic College sent out a letter to parents dated last Friday (November 6).

The school will remain open, it said in its letter.

In the letter, the school said: “We have been made aware of a member of our school community who has tested positive for Covid-19.

“We are continuing to monitor the situation and are working closely with Public Health England.

“The small number of pupils who have been in close contact with the individual who has tested positive for coronavirus (Covid-19) have received a letter informing them that their child must stay at home for 14 days.”
