East Sussex covid numbers by district
East Sussex’s new covid cases decreased from 59 to 53 according to the latest seven-day period data.
According to the East Sussex County Council website, as of today (Monday, May 10) the infection rate per 100,000 across the county dropped from 11 to 10 while England’s rate also decreased from 23 to 21.
Wealden was the only district with a decrease in infections, falling from 16 to 10 according to the most recent seven-day period data, while Eastbourne’s cases remained at nine.
Hastings’ cases also remained at 19 while Rother’s infections stayed at eight.
Lewes’ infections remained at seven.
