In a long and illustrious career Nana has worked with many musical luminaries including Paul McCartney, Marvin Gaye and Ali Farka Touré.

Originally from Nigeria, Hastings’ very own Naomi and Iafia are making waves in the world of indie “new soul”.

Whilst you can hear traces of artists such as India Irie, Lauryn Hill and Bob Marley in their music they themselves are undeniably original and unmissable.

This free event is produced by Art Dev, promoters of Hastings’ annual Afrikaba Festival, and is part of the Stade Saturdays programme.
