Window into the world of silent film
A special event focusing on silent films is coming to the Electric Palace Cinema, in Hastings, on June 16.
The World of Silent Film with Pamela Hutchinson, will be taking cinema-goers on a lively journey through the early years of cinema, as she picks out the best classic and forgotten clips from the silent film world.
A question and answer session will follow.
Find out how cinema grew from simple moving pictures to full-blown features; hear about pioneering female film-makers; see examples of early colour film.
