The main event sees one of Britain’s most popular wrestling stars up against a legendary globetrotter from the United States as home favourite James Mason takes on none other than the ‘Vampire Warrior’ himself, sabre toothed globetrotter Gangrel.

The action in All Star’s opening 2016 presentation starts at 7.30pm and all eyes will be on South London-born Mason, a past holder of several major heavyweight division titles and a wrestler widely acclaimed throughout Europe and much further afield.

Tipping the scales at 250 pounds, Gangrel first hit the Stateside headlines with the then World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in the 1990s before returning to its World Wrestling Entertainments (WWE) successor after the millennium and including RAW’s 15 year celebration event.

The White Rock programme also brings a welcome return for Portsmouth’s Chris Manns, better known as the ‘Fearless Flatliner,’ who will be directing his colourful style and energies against South Coast rule-bender Andy Simmonz, while in one of three further contests East Anglia-based ‘Wonder Kid’ Jonny Storm will be reviving a long-standing rivalry dating back to his teenage days against the always direct and fast moving Londoner Jody Fleish.

Tickets, held at 2015 prices, are now on sale at the Theatre box office tel: 01424-462288 and include a special £45 family offer covering two adults and two children under 16. Further event information will appear on All Star’s website: www.superslamwrestling.com and Facebook at: All Star Wrestling U.K.

There is more in store for local wrestling fans when an Extreme American Wrestling event takes place at the Hastings Centre, on the Ridge, on Saturday March 5.
