Anti-bullying support group

A new group is to launch next month, offering support to those in need across the Hastings and Bexhill area.

Leo Support Group is open to anyone who has been a victim of bullying, as well as people who have disabilities, mental health issues or social issues.

The group will launch at Harcourt’s Tea House, Cambridge Road, Hastings, at 10am on March 27.

The group is being sponsored by Right Power and will be opened by Hastings personality Brett Mclean.

The group was set up by Kelly Fenton-Goss, who named the group after her beloved son Leo.

Kelly suffers from Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, an inherited disorder which affects the connective tissue, which has left her in hospital 170 times in just three years.

The condition was passed on to baby Leo. He was removed from Kelly’s care at three days old and she is fighting to get him back.

Speaking about the group, she said: “It’s for anyone who is in difficulty of any kind.

“It would be nice for people to come down to show their support.”
