'Anti-social' boy breaches order for a fifth time

A TEENAGER has admitted breaching an Anti-Social Behaviour Order slapped on him last year by magistrates for terrorising Sidley.

Daniel Cunningham, 16 was fined 25 at Hastings Youth Court on Wednesday after he entered an area of Sidley from which he was banned under the court order.

A further three charges of breaching the ASBO were dropped. Normally defendants under 18 are afforded anonymity in court but magistrates have allowed Cunningham to be named in the public interest.

Police say it's the fifth time he has been pulled-up for breaching the order, which also imposes a 9pm-6am curfew and prohibits him from 'behaving in a manner which causes or is likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress' to people 'or inciting others to do so' and from using violent and abusive language.

Two exceptions allow Cunningham to attend the doctor's surgery by appointment and attend Sidley Young People's Centre for counselling.
