Armed Forces Day commemorated in church service
THE BEXHILL branch of the Royal Naval Association has arranged a church service commemorating Armed Forces Day.
Father Coates from St Augustine's Church, Cooden Drive, will lead the service from 3pm on June 27.
Eric Woodhouse, chairman of the Bexhill RNA, said: "The service is to provide the people of Bexhill with a chance to unite and show their appreciation and support for our Armed Forces. Not forgetting that they and their families have and still are making huge personal sacrifices to ensure the interest of our country by still defending us."
All are invited to support the event. Standards, Cadets and other youth movements arrive 20 minutes before the service.
