Art exhibition for St Michael's Hospice

Crowds flocked to Pett Village Hall throughout the Bank Holiday weekend to see the Big Easter Art Exhibition in aid of St Michael's Hospice.

Paintings by 46 local artists created a stunning display which was greatly admired by visitors of all ages. In addition, on the spot portraits were painted by Barbara Valentine and artists contributed beautiful paintings and others prizes to be raffled. A record number of pictures were sold and a remarkable total of 7,190 was raised for St Michael's Hospice.

The event was sponsored by Jewson, Timber and Builders Merchants in Bexhill. St Michael's Hospice wishes to thank Tony Palmer and his team of volunteers who worked so hard to make the Exhibition a success. Grateful thanks also to all artists who took part and to everyone who kindly gave their support.
