The play has a large cast and Lawry believes the performance, which will be a spectacular costume drama befitting of the Shakespearean era, will be an ideal opportunity for aspiring actors.

Lawry said: "There will be room for actors to explore their character on different levels, believable as part of the fairy tale, or '“ with an audience which doesn't suspend its disbelief '“ as part of Prospero's internal struggles."

The initial read through of the play will be on Friday 13th March, with auditions to be held on Thursday 19th March.

Performance dates are 27th July - 1st August.

Backstage crew or anyone who may be interested in being a part of the production are also invited to apply.
