The Barby Keel Animal Sanctuary Christmas Bazaar raised £3,260 in just three hours.
The event was held at Bexhill Youth and Community Centre, Bexhill on Sunday November 15. There was much on offer for bargain hunters including raffle, tombola, music, gifts, games, produce, presents, calendars, jewellery, pet stall, DVDs,and Toys. Father Christmas was busy but his wife, Mrs Christmas attended instead.
Based at Freezeland Lane, the sanctuary’s owner, Barby Keel said she was delighted with the support they received and the amount raised. “It was brilliant,” she said. “Considering it was so cold there was a good turnout and we all had a good laugh and enjoyed ourselves.
“Thank you to everyone who donated items to sell, to those who supported the event and to my motley crew for all their hard work. It was a better result than last year and I’m really made up...really chuffed!” http://barbykeel.btck.co.uk
