Bexhill and Battle MP to launch EU debates this weekend

Bexhill and Battle MP Huw Merriman will launch his series of EU referendum debates this weekend.

Mr Merriman will be holding debates at the following venues on the following dates across his constituency:

• Peasmarsh Memorial Hall, 10am, Saturday June 4.

• Kings Church State Rooms, Station Road, Heathfield, 7.30pm, Thursday June 9.

• Sedlescombe Village Hall, 10am, Saturday June 11.

• Priory Court Hotel, Pevensey, 7.30pm, Thursday June 16.

• Dale Hill Golf Club, Ticehurst, 7.30pm, Friday June 17.

• St Johns’ Church, London Road, Bexhill, 10am Saturday June 18.

• Battle Baptist Church, noon, Saturday June 18.

Mr Merriman has not declared whether he is in favour of Britain leaving or remaining in the EU.

The EU referendum will take place on June 23.
