Bexhill crews tend to flooding and kitchen fire

Firefighters attended two separate incidents at properties in Bexhill last night (Wednesday, June 1).

At around 6.25pm, a crew from Bexhill and a crew from Bohemia Road in Hastings attended reports of a kitchen fire.

They went to an address in Preston Road in Sidley, One hose reel jet was used to put out the small fire. The property was then ventilated.

Later at around 11.05pm, a fire engine from Bexhill was sent to Beatrice Walk, following reports of flooding affecting electrics. Salvage and mopping up was undertaken by crews.
