The Nan Wilding Day Centre at Bexhill held a Halloween party last week where staff and members enjoyed spooky treats and dressed up for the occasion.
Jackie Haggerty, from Bexhill Caring Community, said: “There was plenty of laughter with Mrs Sweeny Todd as the new head cook.
“We had a menu of mulled whine and dried skins to start; a maggoty skinned head, served with entrails in a blood red jus and a bitter sweet trifle and scream.
The day centre is looking for sponsorship on November 11 when it will be raising money for Children in Need.
Members will be dressing up as their favourite heros.
Organiser Christina Chinn said: “Our members like to participate in fund raising for other charities, particularly a children’s charity.
“Every child can benefit from a happy and safe start in life. So we will do our bit to helkp secure support for those who need it.
Anyone wanting to sponsor us should contact the Bexhill Caring Community Office on Sackville Road.
Every penny raised will go directly to Children in Need.”
