A playgroup in Bexhill is the happy recipient of £250 courtesy of confiscated property.
Bexhill police made the donation to help Stepping Stones playgroup purchase play equipment for physical activity on Friday (September 25).
The donation comes from the Police Property Act Fund, made up of monies received by the police from property confiscated by order of the court and then sold.
Early years manager Hayley Spice said: “We are really pleased to receive this donation from Sussex Police.
“The equipment can be used inside and out, so the children can really see the benefit and get lots of exercise, which will be great.”
The playgroup offers early years care for age two years upwards, to find out more visit: www.bexhillyouthandcommunitycentre.co.uk.
