2015 was a roller coaster of a year for the Club. After being in existence for 52 years it looked as if it would close as there was difficulty in finding 3 volunteers to take over 3 key roles on the Committee. When all seemed lost an enthusiastic ‘team’ of members came along and volunteered to take on these important positions. So we start 2016 with many monthly exciting shows already planned to Theatres in Eastbourne, Brighton, Worthing, and Canterbury but we also visit Bromley and Dartford. In addition we are planning to have the Club’s usual two lunches in the summer and at Christmas. The price of the outings include coach travel, (with many pick-up points) seat in the theatre and, where possible, tea after the show. The Club meets on the first Friday each month at the St. Peters Community Centre, Old Town, Bexhill at 10 am. where you can meet friends, buy tea or coffee, a raffle ticket and book for the next outing. All new members are made very welcome. For further information please contact Mary Pluckneft (Chairman) 01424 213981
