Bexhill to remember Shoreham crash victims

A special service is to take place in Bexhill on Wednesday (August 26) to remember those who died in Saturday’s plane crash at the Shoreham Airshow.

St Augustine’s Church of England Church in Cooden Drive, Bexhill, will hold a Eucharist for those who lost their lives and those who were injured when the aircraft came down on the A27.

The emergency services and all the agencies involved in the aftermath of the tragedy will also be remembered in the prayers of the congregation.

There will also be a period of silence and the chance to light a candle for all those affected by Saturday’s events.

The service will start at 10am and will be lead by Father Robert Coates.

All are welcome to attend.

All clergy from across Bexhill and Battle have also been personally invited.
