Bible comes to life on World Book Day

CHILDREN and staff at St Mary Magdalene's Roman Catholic School in Hastings Road, Bexhill celebrated World Book Day last Thursday by dressing up as characters from the Bible.

Their choice of tome was influenced by March 2011 also being dedicated to Celebrating Religious Education and the school’s Catholic tradition.

Year five teacher Nicola Levett, who doubled as “the widow and her mite”, said youngsters and teachers had all thoroughly enjoyed themselves, and added: “We had a variety of characters turn up for the day.
