Firefighters in Bexhill were kept busy after a car crash and a fire in the open yesterday (Monday, June 6).

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service crews from Bexhill were mobilised to Cooden Drive after the crash involving two private vehicles at around 5.50pm.

Paramedics also attended.

Later Bexhill crews were sent to Edmonton Road following reports of a fire in the open.

Fire crews offered advice at the incident.
