MORE than 80 fixed penalty notices have been issued to motorists since a new clampdown on Bexhill's rogue car parkers came into effect earlier this month.

Two cars have been towed away.
The Clearer Streets initiative is being run by Bexhill Police and Rother council.
It follows complaints of "nowhere to park" in the town centre.
Officials say too many traders are abusing the parking restrictions at the expense of their customers.
