A car has become stuck on a flooded road in Bexhill this afternoon (Monday, January 4).
The vehicle has broken down on Peartree Lane, which has flooded following heavy rainfall.
It is believed that a 4x4 driver is preparing to tow the stricken vehicle from the water.
Several members of the public are currently on the scene helping to direct traffic away from the flooding, including Observer photographer Justin Lycett.
The police have been informed.
