Carnival fund-raising nominations wanted
ORGANISERS of Bexhill Carnival are inviting local groups, charities and good causes who would like to benefit from street collections on carnival day - Saturday, July 30 - to contact them with details of why they deserve support.
They should set out brief details in a letter and send it to: The Donations Department, c/o Bexhill Carnival, 6 Southlands Road, Sidley, Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex TN39 5HG.
The deadline for responses is Monday, May 23.
Meanwhile, a carnival quiz night is being held at 7pm on Saturday, May 21 in the hall at Bexhill Caring Community’s offices in Sackville Road, Bexhill.
Tickets, to include a ploughman’s supper, cost £6 and can be obtained by calling 01424 220217 or 210081.
