Chance todiscoverancientwoodland

The Woodland Trust is offering the opportunity people to join them for a guided walk through ancient woodland at Brede High Woods on Sunday July 12.

Meet in the Woodland Trust western car park at Cripps Corner, at 10am for a two and half hour to three hour walk.

The walk will be visiting the sites of Austford House and Brede High Farm and will include explanations of the recent excavations at these two sites and discussion about the past use of the landscape and the people who lived there just prior to the building of the reservoir.
